Sometimes, life throws us curveballs in the most unexpected
ways—like during a live stream webinar, for instance. Let me tell you, I had
everything lined up, with several attendees scheduled to join me for an
exciting session. Then, the inevitable happened: technology challenges. And
guess what? User error played a big part. I set it up wrong.
At that moment, I was frustrated, embarrassed, and
disappointed. But what started as a tech mishap led me to think about something
deeper—how many of us feel like we’ve missed our chance at something we care
about, especially when it comes to goals like writing a book.
The truth is, we all face those moments when things don’t go
as planned. But here’s the kicker: it doesn’t mean it’s over. That tech glitch?
It didn’t ruin my chance; it simply gave me an opportunity for a second try—and
a better one at that.
The myth of the missed opportunity can be frustrating. How
often have you heard someone say, “I missed my chance to write that book”?
Maybe you've even said it yourself. Life gets busy, distractions pile up, and
soon enough, the dream we once had starts to feel like it’s passed us by. We
think, "If I had just started sooner, I could’ve done it by now."
But here's the thing—there's no expiration date on pursuing
what matters to you.
We have this idea that there's only one "right"
time to chase a goal, and if we miss it, that's it. But that’s not true. I’ve
seen firsthand that life offers second chances all the time. Second chances at
love and even, second chances at success. And it's not just about “trying
again”; it’s about using what you’ve learned to do things better.
Embracing Second Chances in Writing
For the last month I have been talking about seizing the
opportunity to write and an eBook book. I’ve talked about it being selfish to
keep all that knowledge to yourself when it could truly be a help and a
blessing to solve someone else’s problem. So many people tell me they’d love to
write an eBook but feel like the opportunity has passed them by. Whether they
started and stopped or never got around to it, there’s this underlying belief
that they can’t begin now.
But here’s what I tell them: writing is full of second
chances. Think about it—every draft you write is an opportunity to improve,
every edit makes your story clearer, and every roadblock is a chance to rethink
your approach. Writing a book is a journey, not a one-time event.
Turning Setbacks into Comebacks
The tech mishap I experienced? It taught me some valuable
lessons—not just about double-checking webinar settings (which I will
definitely do from now on!) but about how important it is to stay flexible and
open to learning along the way.
So, if you’re feeling like you’ve missed your window of
opportunity to write that eBook, I’m here to tell you this: your comeback
starts now. It’s not too late, and the lessons you’ve learned along the way are
going to make your story even more powerful.
Speaking of second chances, I want to invite you to join me

Life is full of surprises, and while they might not always
be what we expect, they can lead to incredible opportunities for growth and new
beginnings. Whether it's a tech glitch or a personal setback, remember that
every moment is a chance to reset and refocus.
So, if you’ve been putting off your dream of writing an eBook
because you think you’ve missed your chance, consider this your gentle nudge to
dive back in. Embrace the lessons learned, and don’t shy away from starting
over. Second chances can lead to amazing results, especially when you approach
them with fresh eyes and renewed determination.
I hope you’ll join me for the webinar on Thursday, October

can impact others and for some be the answer to their prayers.

always wanted to write. Here’s to new beginnings and the second chances that
await us all! Let’s do this!
