As we close out 2025, I think most
of us can agree on one thing: this year has been a lot. Not just busy — heavy.
It stretched our capacity, challenged our stability, and exposed the limits of
running on empty. For many, the pressure showed up everywhere: in our bodies
through fatigue or illness, in our emotions through irritability or burnout,
and in our spiritual lives through moments where we felt disconnected, unsure,
or drained.
If 2025 taught us anything, it’s
that stress doesn’t stay neatly in one area. It spills over. It multiplies. And
it will eventually demand our attention one way or another. But here’s the good
news: we don’t have to take the mindset of 2025 into 2026.
A new year doesn’t magically reset
anything — but a renewed mind can.
This is a perfect moment to pause,
look back honestly, and look forward intentionally.
This year revealed how much
pressure we’ve been carrying, often in silence. It revealed the habits that
helped… and the ones that hurt. It revealed where our thinking strengthened us…
and where it held us back. It revealed that bandwidth is not unlimited, and
neither is peace.
And yet, it also revealed
resilience — the kind you don’t always notice while you’re in the middle of
surviving.
What We Don’t Want to Carry
Forward
As 2026 approaches, it’s worth
asking:
- What thought patterns do I need to release?
- What expectations drained me instead of supported me?
- Where did I ignore my emotional or physical signals?
- What beliefs about myself need to be updated, not
recycled?
We cannot control every stressor,
but we can control the mindset we bring into a new season.

A Whole-Person Reset
Resetting your mind for 2026
doesn’t mean ignoring reality. It means aligning the parts of your life that
often get separated:
- your mental clarity
- your emotional health
- your spiritual grounding
- your physical well-being
All four matter. All four
communicate with each other. All four affect the way you think, live, and lead. This reset is about bringing yourself back
Questions to Guide Your Reset
As you prepare for 2026, take a few
moments to reflect:
- What needs to heal?
- What needs to shift?
- What needs to be released?
- What needs more attention?
- What kind of mindset would support the life I want to
build next year?
These questions aren’t about
perfection — they’re about alignment.

Looking Ahead
I’m grateful to every person who
has read, shared, or engaged with my newsletter this year. Your support has
been meaningful, and your voices matter. As we step into 2026, I’m working on
some new things that I believe will support spiritual, emotional, and physical
well-being in deeper, more integrated ways.
Stay tuned. New year. Fresh clarity. Renewed mind.
Here's to entering 2026 lighter,
steadier, and more intentional.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Blessings,
Dr. Janice R. Love
